Dear Colleagues,

In our new Issue, healthcare policy in Poland is widely discussed in a few articles.

We are pleased to publish an article describing a state-funded Polish project called „Healthcare needs maps” written by B. Więckowska, the Project Coordinator herself.

A. Różalska and M. Czech in their article shed some light on the role of drug policy in the state healthcare system.

Falkiewicz et al. present in their paper issues related to primary immunodeficiencies in Poland- the therapeutic and diagnostic ones affecting the patients, as well as the financial burden those diseases impose on the government.

Furthermore, A. Śliwczyński et al. publish results of a study assesing the usefulness of Sankey model in healthcare data analysis.

In addition, we feature some articles by foreign authors, from countries such as India and Ukraine.

The last article of the issue is as usual a short review of the Polish Pharmacoeconomic Society activities by M. Szkultecka-Dębek.

We hope you will enjoy this issue of Journal of Health Policy & Outcomes Research.

Sincerely,

prof. Karina Jahnz-Różyk, Editor-in-Chief
