Review of the Polish Pharmacoeconomic Society activities’ 1/2019
Conferences:
On April 12, 2019 JHPOR organized the 6th scientific conference in Warsaw. This year's edition was focused on hot topics in health care in Poland. Important topics like drug policy, patients’ registries (ophthalmology), current epidemiological situation in Poland, the recently established agency for medical studies in Poland, healthcare maps and RWE issues were discussed.
On March 27-28 in Warsaw, took place the ISPOR CEE regional conference. The main focus was on health policy-related issues, research, and innovation. Participants from 34 countries had the opportunity to network and to get updates among other on the health-policy issues of joint HTA, procurement, pricing, medical device assessments.
Society sections activities:
The Health Related Quality of Life Section
finalized the work on the QoL lexicon and plans to publish it during the second half of
2019.
Other:
The Polish Pharmacoeconomic Association will
participate in the preparation of the Polish HTA guidelines for medical devices.
The work will be initiated on 3rd July 2019 and it will be led by the
Polish HTA agency (AOTMiT).
