Dear Readers,

Psoriasis managament remains to be one of major challenges in dermatology. In this issue, we publish experts' recommendations regarding using dimethyl fumarate (DMF) in treatment of this disease.

Pneumococcal infections are among the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in the world. Not only pose they a significant clinical problem, buy also they have serious financial and social consequences. So far the data on indirect costs regarding those infections was rather scarce. Golicki et al. present an estimation of those costs in Poland based on data of Social Insurance Instition (ZUS).

Tobacco heating products (THPs) and their impact on health are controversial topics that require further research. Marszałek et al. wrote an extensive systemic review comparing THPs and conventional cigarettes.

In addition we are pleased to recommend you articles regarding cost minimisation analysis and various aspects of financing treatment of rare diseases.
